It's been a while since our last gig in Perugia with our bonifide sound.
This would be the right occasion to party till mourning light as the big bad champion sound is actually celebrating his 15th aniversary, can't forget about Bashfire sound too, Chiskee Watamelon and the whole family will celebrate their 10th anniversary too. Episode number two of the regular dances that NL keeps once a month in his birth day place called Udine. Between all of our last gigs all over Pizzaland this comes in like the night of all night. As we already told you, for a very long time NL didn't keep up regular reggae happening in his own city, but as the table turns luck comes our way again!!! So this time NL won't be alone behind the control, Red Storm sound will be in the building too!

Mi good good breggin from Royal Beat, Kissusenti and CZ Alleanza is bringin you the best as usual and this time the "kill or be killed" competion got international. We will have "the Antigua's legend"Poison Dart fighting for the title against "the dubplate specialist" Dancehall Soldiers.
Two big sound ina the land but ongle one trophey so you already know that it's "kill or be killed"!!!

If you can't be at none of these reggae happening you don't have to worry, Northern Lights will be touring all over italy as the new year will kick off...Pisa on the 5th of january will be the first step, then Gorizia 'ls Sentinel sound from Germany on the 14th and Roma again on the 28th. Firenza, Bologna, Como, Losanna (Swiss) and Milano are still to be confirmed...so everybody come join the lights in the city next to you!!! Oh and Have a nice Reggae Christmas by the way!!!

Nonostante le numerose dancehall in regione effettuate dalla chiusura del club Anni 60 (l'ultimo locale dove con Red Storm sound NL ha svolto 2 stagioni di dancehall con ospiti da tutt'italia e non solo), era molto tempo che il sound di Udine nn aveva la possibilità di suonare dall'inizio alla fine. Questa sera l'occasione è veramente speciale, NL torna a Udine nella splendida cornice dei Laghetti Alcione, a due passi dal centro e dalla stazione dei treni (da viale Palmanova girare a sinistra al semaforo di Cussignacco, allo stop girare a sinistra ancora e poi svoltare a destra in via dei Prati). DOPO 10 ANNI TORNA IL RAS, (Reali Autentici Sound)!

A 10 anni dall'ultima edizione, dove NL ebbe l'onore di partecipare, torna il RAS (reali autentici sound), manifestazione in cui tutte le principali crew di sound system italiani si ritrovano per confrontarsi. Questa volta NL fa parte del comitato promotore e sarà tra i pochi sound a gestire una propria yard con il proprio impianto e ospiti da tutta la penisola.
Non ci sono parole per esprimere l'emozione che tutta la nostra crew sta provando a 5 giorni dalla partenza. L'impianto è pronto, mancano solo alcuni accorgimenti per renderlo il più sfavillante che mai! Dj Deso lavora duro per farlo suonare al massimo delle sue potenzialità. Il telefono di Michelle si è quasi fuso per tutte le telefonate fatte per organizzare bene la nostra yard, nella quale, oltre alle luci del nord, potrete vedere all'opera:

GO HARD OR GO HOME WINNER IS BOMCHILOM!

And the winner is...Bomchiom sound from Padoa!!!

Go hard or go home 2011 has been a great night full of musical war vibes. Both sounds give their 100% in every rounds. No need to say that the third, the only dubplate round, was what everybody was waiting for and onestly, we must tell you that even we the promoters (NL & Zioncuts) were like "F*#k!!! Did You hear dat??".
Just to give you some anticipation on what you'll ear as soon as the audio will get release: the sound of Padoa decided to start with a classic hit by Luciano callin up Red Storm name and tellin dem to "run weh, when Bomchilom play". Pure fire flame warm the club as Bomchilom's Brusco were drop...those heavy custom lines did get nuff fwds.
The winner did good on that round, but there's no need to say that Red Storm did too. As an hardcore dancehall fan sound, Red Storm started their dubplate round by bossing "badman" by Junior Reid (first italian sound that ever boss it in an italian shootout) and ending their round playing SINGER J "not afraid" in a customized way against Bomchilom. FIRE!
Needless to say that this is just the 1% of what you will ear...if you didn't "did deh"...you just missed one of the wickedest night in the Triveneto sound systems hystory.

This Saturday is gonna be mad, "GO HARD OR GO HOME" is about to tell us who's the tuffest between Bomchilom & RedStorm...We know that enought people has been waitin a long time to witness a musical war up in the north east area, for NL is been a long time too...the last one was NL vs HEARTICAL sound from Paris, but if it comes to italian sound...the real last one was back in 2006. When NL set the greatest 45 shootout soundclash in the italian sounds history: Villada from Rome VS Godzilla from Bologna VS IShence from Perugia.

Big up to all the soundclash fans that has been waiting for this for too much! Northern Lights & Zion cuts are proud to bring you the real deal when it comes to musical wars. Go hard or go home is basically a 45 shootout with one dubplates round that will show (or not show) the real skills of the two contendent, Red Storm from Udine and Bomchilom from Padova.

The two of them are well know sound systems in the Triveneto area and this would be their first 1vs1 soundclash.

Bomchilom is the debutant while Red Storm had been through two 45 shootout in the past. It's been a while since Northern Lights is not promoting a musical competition between reggae sound systems and we actually think that this is the right way to catch the attention of the local patrons.

The rules of the clash are very simple: 2 45 rounds, 1 dubplate round and a dub fi dub of 7 tunes each...no playback allowed! The war is on....make shure you will be there (for more info about it log on to www.fareastconnection.it/yard)

Dj Deso & Ed Benga has always been an active part of the Fresh Hip Hop Movement. From the very first party at the "Cream" club Dj Deso has been spinning records for the slovenina hip hop community. Dj Pipss has come a long way in these 10 years. As the one and only boss of the crew, he put up a lot of gigs around Slovenija, from Fresh Hip Hop mini tour to the classical Fresh Xmas jam party to the late Fresh summerjam.
